Laetitia Jacquart is a documentary filmmaker, editor and educator based in Oakland, CA.

In 2007, she co-founded a film platform and collective of visual artists ETCaetera based in Paris. Since then she directed or collaborated as an editor or assistant director on multiple media projects including short fiction films, essays, documentaries and cross-media exhibits both in France and in the Bay Area. She also worked as an Assistant Director for short films Le Reve de Frederique and Aeroport.

Her first feature documentary L’Aire was screened in festivals in France and abroad.  

As a documentary film editor, she has worked on the feature film Come Full Circle, directed by Ben Grossman and screened at the 2013 Indian American Film Festival as well as on a web series of Afghan refugees oral stories LittleKabul Stories, among others. She currently works as an assistant editor for Bo Boudart Productions in production with Accidental Activists and For the Love of Conch.

Her last short film Swan co-directed with JP Dobrin was recently shown at the 2018 SF DocFest and DocLands among others. She is currently in post production on a short hybrid essay film called Angel Islands, which explores themes of exile, immigration and memory through the story of the young Asian-American couple visiting Angel Island for the first time- as well as in production for her second feature film based in the Tenderloin in San Francisco.

She taught Film and Media at SAE Expression College and currently works for the Art Digital Media department at Diablo Valley College.

She is a member of the San Francisco chapter of the Film Fatales.
